What it is
The Cycle Touring Circuit was created to promote nature tourism and sport and to bring residents and visitors closer to the land. It covers about 70 km, split into sections, through beaches, lagoons, dunes, country roads, communities and native forest.
What to do
Ride the circuit sections at your own pace. The opening ride was about 25 km, designed for riders of different levels.
Points of interest
- Section 1: starts at Praça Governador Ivo Silveira, downtown, where the circuit sign is.

Tips
Some stretches are dirt road and sand: a bike with wider tires helps. Bring water, a helmet, sunscreen and a spare tube, and pick the stretch that suits your fitness. On roads with traffic, ride in single file and use lights or reflectors.
