What it is
Natal Cristo Luz is the Garopaba city hall's end-of-year program. It opens with the Christmas parade through downtown, with Santa and his helpers, and the opening of Santa's House, where children can visit him and hand in their letters.
Praça Governador Ivo Silveira is decorated with Christmas lights, and in December there are music and dance performances and the Christmas show, with local schools and dance companies.
What to do
Watch the opening parade, take the children to Santa's House (in 2025, at the House of Culture in the Historic Center), stroll around the lit-up square and enjoy the performances and the Christmas show.
