What it is
On Praia da Gamboa, as in Siriú, the new year is welcomed with family celebrations and silent fireworks, away from the crowds.
In Garopaba, the main party is on the central beach, with a stage on Avenida dos Pescadores. At the last edition, the fireworks were low-noise, a measure praised by residents, visitors and animal advocates. Ferrugem and Rosa usually have their own parties.
