The Roncador Dunes are in Areias de Macacu, between Macacu and Siriú, in the same dune field as the Siriú Dunes. At the foot of the dunes there are small lagoons, surrounded by coastal scrub and pasture, with the white sand rising on one side and the sea in the background.

In the Areias de Macacu area, near Siriú; the last stretch is on foot, across the dunes.

There are no facilities. Stay on the sand and on existing paths, do not step on the dune vegetation, and take your trash back.
