Between Ouvidor Beach and Praia Vermelha, at the southern tip of Garopaba, a crack in the rocky shore holds a strip of sand about 2 meters wide, between two rock walls and facing the sea. It is known as Passo do Cabrito or Praia da Fenda and called the smallest beach in Brazil: Garopaba Por Aí measured it at 2.34 m.
How much sand there is depends on the tide. The crack lies along the trail from Ouvidor toward Praia Vermelha.
