The Centrinho da Gamboa is the stretch of the Gamboa road, close to the beach, where the neighborhood's shops are: restaurants and bars, a grocery store, a bakery and café, an ice cream shop and other everyday services. It is where residents and visitors meet to eat, shop and stroll without having to go to downtown Garopaba.
Gamboa is Garopaba's first beach when arriving from the north, about 15 km by car from downtown, and keeps the feel of a fishing village, quieter than the southern beaches.
